Seasoned as a producer with a specialty in international film distribution over the last 25 years, Annmarie Aronoff (née Lesiuk) has traveled to 48 countries to finance and sell hundreds of feature films and TV series, attending more than 120 festivals and markets worldwide.
By the age of 22, Annmarie produced an award winning dramatic feature film “SOLITUDE” and wrote/directed/produced ten short films, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film Production, ran her own production company for four years, and interned at CTV as a cameraperson. She then worked her way up from assisting in producing duties on 20 international multi-million dollar co-productions at Minds Eye Entertainment, to working as Sales Director of Asia/Australia, to running distribution as Managing Director of Minds Eye International.
Annmarie was headhunted and headed up foreign film/TV distribution for companies in Toronto and Los Angeles, including Portfolio Entertainment. To date, she has sold thousands of hours of movies and TV series to networks in over 130 countries, including Disney, HBO, Nickelodeon, Showtime, ABC, NHK, Travel Channel, Fox, CNN, National Geographic, Discovery, NBC Universal; shaped and led marketing campaigns for over 350 films and series, as well as acquired hundreds of hours of catalogue content. With an expertise in international marketing/development, Annmarie consulted for companies in Dubai, London, China, Australia, Canada, and LA, as well as wrote 12 feature film screenplays and TV series projects.
Based in Los Angeles, Annmarie produced the award-winning feature film “BEYOND THE HEAVENS” and the inspiring military mental-health docudrama for CBC, “I CAME BACK”, which premiered at the Los Angeles Awareness Film Festival and was an Official Selection of CinéWomen Cahiers Magazine. Annmarie co-directed and pre-sold the award-winning documentary feature film “SKYGRAZERS” to three networks, and co-wrote/co-produced “MARY FOR MAYOR”, a family feature film. Her most recent films co-produced with Chris have generated profits equivalent to 3 times the total budgets.
Annmarie is an aviation enthusiast and enjoys strength-training, hiking, and ballet.
